Working at Memorial Hermann

Hear from our employees:

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

At Memorial Hermann Health System, we are dedicated to celebrating our unique differences by fostering a culture grounded in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion journey begins with the incredible people who proudly wear a Memorial Hermann badge. We believe that in order to positively impact our community, we must first empower employees with the skills and support needed to advance their career and cultivate a respectful, inclusive environment for our employees, affiliated providers, students and trainees, volunteers and vendors.

One way that our EDI journey helps Memorial Hermann employees grow and thrive is our Employee Resource Groups, which provide a safe space for employees and affiliated providers who are drawn together by shared characteristics or causes to create opportunities for personal growth and professional development. Our ERGs also offer insight and guidance as we work to address health inequities that persist in our communities. While we may continue to expand our ERGs in the future, the groups we currently support are described below.

Additionally, ERGs are just one way that employees can play an active role in Memorial Hermann's EDI journey. Click here to learn more about our EDI strategy and how you can get involved.
Allies for the Improvement of Disability Experience (AIDE) The AIDE Employee Resource Group empowers employees to achieve their best by working in an environment where we focus on everyone's abilities and contributions.
