As a Mammography Technologist with Memorial Hermann, you will:
Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms using advanced digital and 3-D equipment.
Support breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and biopsy procedures as needed.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and guide patients through each step of the imaging process.
Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, and Memorial Hermann quality standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and nurse navigators to ensure timely, accurate results and optimal patient outcomes.
Promote a culture of safety, respect, and excellence in imaging services.
Ideal Candidate for a Mammography Tech Role
Education & Certification:
ARRT (M) Mammography certification required.
Valid Texas state license or eligibility.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in mammography or breast imaging.
Experience with 3-D mammography and advanced imaging techniques preferred.

Radiologic Technologist to Mammography Tech Training Program
Memorial Hermann is now offering a 2 - 3 month paid training program/apprenticeship that will prepare you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a Mammography Technologist. Training includes 320 hours of structured education, textbook review and independent diagnostic exams. Upon training completion and successfully passing the mammography registry exam, you will be transitioned into a Mammography Technologist role at one of our Breast Care Centers located across the Greater Houston area.
