About HEAL High School
The Youth Apprenticeship Program is one of the ways Memorial Hermann supports students in gaining real-world experience while continuing their education.
HEAL High School is a health care focused high school created through a partnership between Memorial Hermann and Aldine ISD. The school is designed to introduce students to health care careers early and provide meaningful pathways into the workforce.
The initiative is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies through its national effort to expand career and technical education opportunities for students, along with philanthropic support from the Memorial Hermann Foundation.
Through classroom learning, career exploration, and hands-on training opportunities, students graduate with the knowledge and experience needed to pursue careers in health care.

Who Can Apply to the HEAL High School Youth Apprenticeship Program?
Eligible HEAL High School students are able to apply for apprenticeship roles during designated application periods. Students selected for the program will participate in interviews and placement with Memorial Hermann teams. Requirements include:
Students currently enrolled in HEAL High School
Students who are at least 16 years old
Students who meet program eligibility requirements

Attend an Information Session to decide if the program is right for you. Be sure to visit our events page to register to attend one of the Information Sessions.
If you've decided to apply to the HEAL High School Youth Apprenticeship Program, attend a student application session where Memorial Hermann recruiters will help you through the application process. Aldine ISD staff will share details on these sessions.
Interview with Memorial Hermann leaders and receive an offer the same day if selected.
HEAL High School Youth Apprenticeship Program

Submitting an application is the first step to be considered for this program. After you've completed an application, you'll be asked to take an assessment to understand your experience, attitude and opinion. If selected for the program, our pre-boarding team will guide you through the process to get to your first day of apprenticeship.
