Memorial Hermann Stroke Unit is a growing, fast- paced 16 bed unit. We are proud to be designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
When it comes to stroke care, Memorial Hermann has extensive resources, strong capabilities and thorough staff training. The requirements for a Comprehensive Stroke Center certification are rigid and extensive. We are proud to serve our community and to be able to provide a higher level of care with 24/7 neurosurgical availability
Sign On Bonus $10K
Long term career growth, Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet Facility. Expertise in treating patients with large ischemic strokes, intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements
Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills:
- Must have at least 1 year of RN experience. Neuro or Stroke experience highly preferred
